Steven Blashfield
Steven Blashfield is the Director of Design at CWA. Steven's primary role is to manage the firm's Nantucket based and Commercial projects. He is a licensed architect in the state of Massachusetts (2001). Steven holds a Master of Architecture degree and a Master of Science degree in Historic Preservation from the University of Oregon and a Bachelor of Science degree in Design from Clemson University .
Originally from Florida , Steven has been on Nantucket working with CWA since 1997. He is currently an appointed member of Nantucket Historic District Commission's Historic Structures Advisory Board and is the firm's specialist in historic preservation.
Prior to relocating to Nantucket, Steven completed a Historic American Building Survey (HABS) of the Edward Allen Auditorium in Sitka , AK , which was subsequently given national recognition on the National Trust for Historic Preservation's Eleven Most Endangered List in 1999. He also served as Editorial Assistant for Leland Roth's publication Building at the End of the Oregon Trail (1997), and is a contributing writer for Home & Garden: Nantucket magazine.
