Brick House
This home built in Northboro , MA , recalls a quality of craftsmanship and style found more than a century ago. The client envisioned an estate reminiscent of the 1890's New England countryside.
The structure's significant size and detailed design responds to the parkland character of the property, its scale compliments the site. The natural landscape of waterfalls, ponds and rolling hills, which has been retained, demanded a home that would be equal in substance.
Richly comprised of brick and stone, trimmed in copper and clad in slate, the exterior surfaces have been carefully crafted to play with the light and shadows as the sun sweeps over the home. The interior treatments are detailed with richly carved wood and stone, complimenting the outside of the home and its surroundings.
