live & local presents: ide(a)s of march
Join us for an art installation of sculpture and paintings by island artist Anne Beaulieu with live music from the Jake Vohs Quartet featuring jazz standards sung by Anne. There will also be a wine and cheese reception, all in celebration of National Women's History Month.

one world arts' world music classes
Children ages 6-10 are invited to experience music from cultures around the world. Explore song, dance and a variety of musical instruments and have fun with rhythm and movement games. Call 508.325.0055 to register.
drumming
This community drum circle is an introduction to rhythm and
percussion technique as well as a free-form musical jam. Experience
stress-reduction, creative expression, and simply feel better.
Bring drums and other percussion instruments. Open to all ages
and levels of experience!
music & dance collaborative improv session
Musicians and dancers, come collaborate through improvisation.
We begin with a warm-up (7:30 - 8:00) of stretching, core strengthening
and vocal toning for both musicians and dancers. Followed by
an exploration of movement and sound. Bring an open mind, drums,
bells or any other instrument of your choice. All levels welcome. |
