open community yoga class
An evolving vinyasa flow class with Maria Costanzo, RYT. All levels and abilities are invited to explore ‘meditation in motion' through asana and pranayama. No yoga experience is required.

The energetic flow of this vinyasa style practice promotes strength, suppleness, and agility in body and alert calmness of mind.  Classes are open to beginners and experienced practitioners – you will learn proper alignment, breathing techniques and yoga philosophy. 

pre & post natal kundalini series
A safe, supportive yoga class for any stage of pregnancy or for new mothers looking for a gentle class. Modified kundalini and hatha yoga postures allow for deep relaxation, flexibility and focus while breathing and meditation techniques improve balance and reduce stress. It is a great way to network with other moms. Call to register.

hatha posture series for all levels
This progressive 6-week series emphasizes alignment and in-depth refinement of 4 to 5 Kripalu-Hatha based postures per class. Bring focus and attention to every breath and movement while practicing at your own pace. Pre-registration is required.


yoga movement for children
A fun, safe class of exploration and creativity combining basic yoga postures, gentle stretching, breathing exercises, and games in order to improve the motor skills, self-awareness, and self-confidence of the young students.


the laughing club of nantucket

A vocal yoga session, where gigglers will learn how to produce a repertoire of different laughing styles; including the lion, the geese, and the silent model. Benefits include alleviation of hypertension, arthritis, and migraines. Health experts agree laughter is the best medicine!

gentle restorative yoga
A gentle class which presents a nurturing sequence of opening and strengthening postures, and meditations which honor and restore areas of physical challenge or compromised function. Classic yoga stretches and postures are modified to be less strenuous, providing support, comfort, and ease. Therapeutic assists from the instructor are also integrated. No experience required, an open level class that promotes healing and relaxation.

kundalini yoga
Kundalini is the spiritual energy which is activated and channeled through yoga and meditation. It uses breath, postures, sound, chanting and meditation to produce transformation and relaxation. Certified instructor, Joan Stockman, leads this class that will align chakras and energize the body. Experience your highest consciousness and vitality with this practice known as the Yoga of Awareness.
