Angela Mazaris is a writer who lives on Nantucket Island. She has a degree in English from Vassar College, and will begin work on a Ph.D. in American Ccvilization at Brown University in the fall of 2003.

Angela’s poetry has been published in a number of anthologies, and she also writes features for various regional magazines. For the past four years she has worked at the Maria Mitchell Association. In her free time, she writes in her journal and frequents the beach.
