Originally from the Houston, Texas area, Jo Ann moved to Nantucket
in 1999. She received an associates degree in Interior Design
at the Art Institute of Houston.
She is a self-taught acrylic artist and a member of the Artist
Association of Nantucket. Her paintings are figurative works,
still lifes and landscapes.
She does not consider her work to fit into any particular
style as she "paints whatever inspires her at the time."
Her portraits, "Blue Girl" and "Yellow Girl",
are currently displayed at thespace. |
