yogaSmith instructor
For the last fifteen years, I have been on a quest for wellness, personal research that has taken me around the world, exploring modalities, exercise, techniques, practices, medicines, diet, lifestyle, relationships, business, sports, to here, now. The science of Yoga has formed a strong foundation in this quest, it has allowed me develop greater wisdom and willpower, to work with and treat my deep imprints of behavior, towards moderation, to move sickness and injury out of my body. Each pose can be thought of a birth, sustenance and dying. I have learnt that I have to train myself, for without discipline I cannot be free, and health does not occur without it. This is why yoga starts with a code of conduct which each individual has to develop. Health is the foundation of a full life, one where my goal is to move slowly and steadily toward a body, mind and soul that are harmonious, to bring health and harmony to those around me, and health and harmony to the world.
I am here to share my experiences and knowledge and insights, to assist you with the integration of total health in your life. I use powerful combination of tools developed in both the west and the east for my own health and well-being, which I will gladly make available to you through our yoga and wellness programs.
I share this work in our regular classes at YogaSmith in Nantucket, and also with individuals, athletes, teams, and with corporate executives.
