Director of the Multi-Cultural Council of Nantucket, Willa
Embry (also known as Willow) was initiated into the drumming
community through women's circles.
Drumming supported vision questing and deep connection to
the circle members and Mother Earth. She leads the weekly
community drum circle held at the Children's Beach, Nantucket
throughout the late spring/summer and at thespace during
the fall and winter months. "The drum circle brings together
many levels of experience; it is a non-verbal language, best
expressed through open mind and heart."
